- Coordinating and managing the implementation of assessments.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of results.
- Working closely with academic staff to ensure high standards of assessment.
- Handling queries and concerns about assessments from students and staff.
- Working on continuous improvement of assessment processes.
- Assisting in the development of assessment policies and procedures.
- Maintaining confidentiality and integrity of all assessment-related data.
- Participating in relevant meetings and training sessions.
Profile
A successful Assessment Officer should have:
- Experience in an administrative or support role.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
