Assistant Accountant - 12 Month FTC - Butler Rose : Job Details

Butler Rose is pleased to be working with an established and highly reputable business looking for a skilled finance professional to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts, including analysis and commentary.
• Assist in the production of financial reports and budgets to inform strategic decision-making.
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed and maintained.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide ad hoc financial support and insights to operational teams.

About You

• Active Studier / Part Qual (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• Proven track record of delivering accurate financial reports and meeting deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
• Proficient in using finance systems and advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
• A proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
