Assistant Accountant (15 Months Maternity Cover)East RenfrewshireSalary up to £40k (DOE) + Study Support

Lusona are delighted to partner our leading industrial manufacturing client in the southside of Glasgow for the role of 'Assistant Accountant on a 15-month maternity cover contract.

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will be responsible for performing daily accounting tasks to support the wider finance team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing financial support to the wider finance team.
• Providing input and analysis of monthly reporting documentation.
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting wider areas such as treasury, fixed asset & capital control, as well as any other financial system support.
• Collaborating with other members of the finance team to support credit control, accounts payable and payroll teams.
• Assisting in monitoring and control of WIP management.
• Any other ad hoc tasks outlined by the Group Finance Manager when required.

Applicants will have previous experience within a similar role, ideally gained from an industrial organisation. This role is suitable for a part qualified accountant or suitably qualified by experience accountant. You will have strong management accounts experience, alongside excellent communication and time management skills to collaborate with various stakeholders across the business.
