Assistant Accountant (AR Focus) - Talentedge : Job Details

My client, a renowned ENTERTAINMENT organisation based near TOTTENHAM COURT ROAD STATION, is seeking an accomplished ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT to join them during an exciting period of growth!!

This role is hybrid with the right candidate being in the office 3 days and WFH 2.

Role

• Own the global Accounts Receivable for the business
• Prepare revenue recognition and related cost of sales transactions.
• Prepare Monthly aged debt report
• Prepare monthly sales exec commission report
• Complete monthly Unbilled and Deferred reconciliation
• Prepare quarterly UK VAT submission and submit online to HMRC
• Prepare information for annual P11D and PSA
• Review expense reports with office manager
• Liaising with corporate finance, legal teams and commercial teams at HQ and UK.
• Other ad-hoc project duties as required by the FD

The ideal candidate

• Experienced in Accounts Receivable/Sales Ledger with a minimum 2 years’ experience, ideally within a global company.
• Strong Microsoft excel skills - vlookups, pivot tables
• Prior experience with ERP software is a plus (e.g. Netsuite, Workday)
• Prior experience dealing with a global head office/parent advantageous and dealing with multi currencies
• Ability to both follow direction and work independently to effectively manage workload and prioritize activities
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written as direct communication with clients and liaising with finance colleagues
