Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper - Accountancy Action : Job Details

My client is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business and be an integral part of the team. You will be a confident self-starter who is used to working in a hands-on environment and carrying out a varied role.Key duties will include:

• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing supplier payment runs
• Chasing customers for outstanding payment of invoices
• VAT returns
• Processing monthly Payroll
• Providing ad-hoc support to the team
