Assistant Accountant - Jenson Fisher Consulting Ltd : Job Details

Jenson Fisher have been engaged on an exclusive basis by an expanding organisation based in South Lanarkshire to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit a good all-rounder who would like to be part of a small friendly team with a great company! Hybrid working can also be offered for the successful candidate. This is an exciting and fast-paced role which offers excellent career progression.The main duties:

• Reporting to directors and liaising with Company accountants (UK & EU)
• Taking accounts to trial balance
• Financial statements and reporting
• Bank reconciliation
• Processing payments
• Credit control duties
• Cash allocation
• Month end duties

Requirements:

• Previous accounts experience is essential
• Spanish language would be an advantage
• Proactive attitude and outcome focused
• Highly proficient in Excel
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications, Sage & Xero
• Strong team player
