Assistant Accountant - Page Personnel Finance : Job Details

I'm recruiting for an Assistant Accountant for a thriving industrial / manufacturing company. The role will primarily focus on bank reconciliations, preparing and co-ordinating payments and dealing with online banking platforms

Description

• Posting cash across numerous entities in various currencies and completing associated bank reconciliations.
• Preparing and co-ordinating payments via on-line banking systems including fortnightly payment runs.
• Management of mailbox and ad-hoc query resolution
• Period end activities e.g. bank reconciliations, review and clearance of control accounts etc.
• Administration of bank guarantees
• On line banking systems administration and bank guarantees
• Audit queries

Profile

The successful candidate should have:

• Some experience in a junior accounting position
• Knowledge of general accounting principles
• Looking to study their AAT or Professional Accounting qualifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
