You will be working with a busy, buzzy, friendly and hardworking team.  This is a brilliant opportunity to work with an established, experienced finance team, where you can gain a wealth of experience that will support your finance career.  This is a permanent job where they will pay for your AAT/ CIMA/ ACCA studies.  This role will suit a graduate, a current AAT/ CIMA/ ACCA studier, or a non-studier/ QBE (qualified by experience).      Warner Recruitment are delighted to be working with a local, fast growing and financially stable business based in Northampton.  Warner Recruitment are lucky to be working with this business to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their friendly accounts team of 25.The offices are easy to get to via both car and public transport with easy onsite parkingAssistant Accountant – AAT Qualified/ Studier / Finance & Accounting BA/ BSc Graduate/ CIMA/ ACCA studier/ non studier – QBE (qualified by experience)Job duties include:

• Reconciliations
• Accruals
• Prepayments
• Intrastats
• Variance analysis
• Fixed asset register
• Journals
• Month end reporting
• Producing P&L reports
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Analysing variants
• Making suggestions based on your analysis
• Assisting with purchase ledger
• Working with complex Excel Spreadsheets

Person:

• AAT Qualified/ Studier / Finance & Accounting BA/ BSc Graduate/ CIMA/ ACCA studier/ non studier – QBE (qualified by experience)
• Looking to process your career or remain at this level, both options are possible in this role
• Confident on Excel including Pivot tables, V-lookups and SUM IF’s
• Good communicator
• Able to work on your own initiative
