Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Morley as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
The Assistant Accountant will assist the finance team in providing accurate and timely accounting and management information to the business.Responsibilities:
- Assist the finance team with a variety of day-to-day tasks
- Provide accounting and administrative support to the finance team
- Prepare and enter journals into the system
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Support the preparation of management accounts and month end duties
- Maintain asset registers to ensure accuracy and completeness
Person specification:
- You must be AAT qualified or currently doing your level 4 qualification
- Ideally you will have at least one year of experience in an accounting team
- Strong advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required
- Must have good attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines whilst using your own initiative
