Assistant Accountant - Reading (hybrid) - £28,000- £32,000

We are excited to be supporting a returning client as they search for an Assistant Accountant to help with sales ledger, purchase ledger, cash management, and general support tasks.

PE backed, these guys have seen some brilliant organic growth but are highly acquisitive meaning you'll be joining an ever growing team and company offering you some fantastic career progression.

A bit more about the job....

• Process and maintain the Purchase Ledger (processing invoices, reconciliations, payments).
• Process all receipts and payments in the bank and ensure this reconciles to the accounting system.
• Maintain accurate detail of supplier information within the accounting system.
• Process and maintain the Sales Ledger (funds remitted, reconciliations).

A bit about you....

• You will have 1-2 years experience in a similar role
• Having AAT level 2 as a minimum would be great but not essential
• Proactive approach to all issues and processes.
• Able to analyse information.
• Computer literate, including basic excel skills
