Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a fantastic business in the Castleford area as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their team on a full time permanent basis.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliations
- Trial balance review to management account level
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
- Production and posting of relevant journals
- VAT returns
- Purchase/Sales ledger support as required
- Ad-hoc reporting / support to Head of Finance and Company Accountant
- Assisting with year end audit process
Candidate profile:
- AAT level 3 or above
- Minimum 3 year’s accounts experience
- Advanced excel skill
- Sage 200 experience essential
- Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central experience desirable
- Payroll knowledge desirable
