Assistant Accountant

£30,000 + Bonus + Optional Study Support Package + Competitive Benefits

I am delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Accountant for my award-winning client. The company has been established many years with their employees cited as their greatest assets.

The company operates a multi-million pounds operation serving a diverse client range over multiple industries with further growth and expansion planned, whilst continuing to support a wide range of environmental charities and community projects in the region.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the finance team. There is also the scope for the role to evolve and progress over time.

About the job:

• Assist the production of the monthly management accounts
• Reconcile cashbook, cash sales ledger & asset register.
• Maintain up to date reconciliations of nominal ledger accounts.
• Assist with the audit process.
• Raise payments for approval.

About you:

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
