Isaac James Associates is delighted to be working with a leading Manufacturing business with global operations to appoint an Assistant Accountant into their Midlands offices.

The role reports into the General Ledger Accountant on site, and the normal responsibilities span the reporting and business partnering for the wide array of functions across the Group.

Typical duties include:

• Assist in the preparation of month end files
• Analyse data, investigating & reporting on anomalies
• Prepare monthly journals
• Support in budget & forecast process
• Complete detailed balance sheet reconciliations
• Support when required system KPI preparation for business
• Support ad hoc business projects
• Ensure compliance with all SOX and standard internal controls as required
• Support external and internal audit processes

The candidate

We are looking for a Part Qualified Accountant with experience in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with Month End processes, preparation of relevant journals and the management of multiple Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

The idea candidate will be a strong communicator, able to forge a relationship with the Group Functional Leaders across the UK, and to act as an ambassador for the Head Office finance function.
