Our client are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to work within a SME business. The finance team are a small team who work very collaboratively together.

The Role:

You will play a significant role in financial planning, providing accurate and timely financial and operational information reporting directly to the Finance Director.

Day to day duties will involve:

• Excellent usage and knowledge of Sage 50
• Overseeing the debtor management
• Profit & loss, balance sheets and appropriate management information
• Payroll management and accuracy
• Producing effective reports using Excel
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve financial performance
• Structure and organised
• Good leadership skills with confidence of working with a well-established team

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will be working as an Assistant Accountant or a Management Accountan and have Industry experience within Manufacturing, Industrial or Engineering sectors would be essential experience needed.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills

Proficiency with Sage 50 and Excel is an absolute must
