Role Overview: Temporary Assistant Accountant

As a Temporary Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department with various accounting tasks. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage financial records and ensure accuracy in all transactions.

Assistant Accountant Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Conduct regular ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

Assistant Accountant Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role in the finance sector.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be within commutable distance to our client in Maidstone.
