What you'll do:

As an Assistant Accountant, your role will be integral to the smooth running of our financial operations. You will be responsible for managing sales ledgers, recording supplier invoices, ensuring accurate reconciliation of all company accounts, and processing supplier payments. Your attention to detail will be crucial in posting monthly accruals, prepayments, and other journal entries. Additionally, you will take charge of credit control by managing outstanding customer debts and resolving payment issues. Regular reporting on financial status will also fall under your remit. Your contribution will be vital in maintaining financial accuracy within our fast-paced environment.

• Manage and reconcile sales invoices and payments
• Record and reconcile supplier invoices
• Ensure all company accounts and transactions are accurately reconciled
• Process and manage payment runs for suppliers
• Post monthly accruals, prepayments, and other journal entries as required
• Manage the collection of outstanding customer debts, follow up on overdue accounts, and liaise with customers to resolve payment issues
• Regularly report on financial status and assist with ad-hoc requests
• Ensure all ledgers and bank accounts are reconciled in a timely manner
