Assistant Accountant

Uxbridge, Middlesex

£50,000 + Pension + Parking

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join a successful, local organisation where you will have the opportunity to really stretch your wings and achieve your career objectives.

Some of your duties will include:

- Assisting the Accountant with managing the day to day running of the accounts function

- Managing the sales, purchase and nominal ledgers along with the credit control function

- Preparing cash book records, reconciling with monthly bank statements and investigating any variances

- Calculating and completing VAT returns on a quarterly basis and posting online payments to HMRC

- Assisting the Management Accountant with the production of monthly management accounts

- Preparing a wide range of financial reports and analytics schedules for the operational team
