Description

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices
• Support the wider finance team in the preparation of annual budgets and Month End
• Contribute to the streamlining of accounting processes and systems
• Perform reconciliations of accounts as needed
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
• Participate in financial audits
• Support the finance department in meeting its objectives

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Excellent mathematical skills
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
