Position: Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Deeside

Pay: £30,000

I am working with a SME Manufacturing business in Deeside who are looking for a Assistant Management Accountant to join the manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts
• Conduct production reporting, including various variance analyses.
• Manage product costing and stock reporting.
• Provide insightful commentary on financial performance.
• Partner with operational teams to drive cost efficiencies and profitability improvements.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting requirements as needed.
• Perform financial analysis of departmental spending.
• Oversee month-end reporting.

Qualifications:

• AAT with experience in SMEs or manufacturing.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate numbers into actionable business insights.
• Proficient in Excel, with experience working with large datasets.
• Ambitious and driven, with a desire to grow with the business and take on increased responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
