Assistant Accountant - Accountancy Action : Job Details

This is an opportunity for a 6 month contract with an exciting Media Agency, which will then give you a possibility to become a permanent member of staff.

The business will offer you the opportunity to get more exposure to Management Accounting and would be great for somebody who is studying towards either ACCA or CIMA but looking to enhance their practical experience.

Offering a hybrid working model, a very-friendly team and an excellent mentor it will be a great opportunity for somebody at this level.

Key responsibilities:

• Processing Accounts Payable Invoices & Staff Expenses
• Setting up weekly Payment Runs
• Dealing with Supplier Queries, including from Freelancers
• Managing Company Credit Cards and Reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations for multiple, multi-currency bank accounts
• Posting Month End and Year End Journals
• Assist with the preparation of the P&L and Balance Sheet at Month End and Year End

Personal Profile:

• Part-Qualified/Studying towards ACCA or CIMA (or AAT)
• Experience with Paprika Software (desirable, but not essential)
• Experience with Inter-Company transactions
• Experience with Multiple Currencies (desirable, but not essential)
