Assistant Accountant - Search : Job Details

Are you an experienced Assistant Accountant with strong month-end experience looking for your next challenge? Search have partnered on a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-million turnover business that's growing and investing in its finance function. This is a permanent, full-time position in Liverpool with hybrid working. The Role:Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of month-end processes while ensuring accuracy across key financial tasks:* Month-End Duties - Running depreciation, updating fixed assets, prepayments and accruals, and preparing the monthly management accounts. * Xero Management - Ensuring all financial data is accurately inputted and ready for review.* Day-to-Day Accounts - Purchase & sales ledger, bank reconciliations, and general financial administration.What We're Looking For:* Essential - Month-end experience in preparing. * Desirable - Xero knowledge (but easy to learn if not!)* Someone proactive who can work independently and take ownership of processes.What's in it for You?* £30k - £32k Salary* 25 + 8 days bank holiday* 8.30-5pm with early dart Friday * Study Support* Private Health-care - After probation.* Hybrid Working* Xmas Bonus & Mental Health days - Because work-life balance matters!Next Steps:Interviews are happening immediately for the first stage.
