Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the attendance officer in monitoring student attendance ensuring that accurate records for all students.
• Following up on and contacting parents or guardians regarding relevant matters.
• Assisting with attendance reports and making note of any patterns or concerns related to student attendance.
• Handling of attendance policies and enforce the school’s attendance policies.
• Working closely with teachers, counsellors, and school leadership to identify students regarding poor attendance, and develop strategies to improve student engagement and attendance.

Key Requirements:

• Previous administration experience is essential (preferably within a school) as well as GCSE English and Maths.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of MIS systems, particularly SIMS, is desirable.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide others and respond effectively, even in high-pressure situations.
• Strong work ethic and professional communication skills.
• Provide exceptional support all staff and students alike.
