Location: Romford

Remuneration: £38,000 - £42,000 + BonusBenefits: Comprehensive benefits package The role of the Assistant Branch Manager - Timber & Construction Products will involve:

• Assistant Branch Manager position selling a range of timber and construction products including: sheet materials, tools, bricks, adhesives, fixings, insulation, felt, fencing,, tools, cladding, drainage, paving, aggregates, ironmongery, nut & bolts etc.
• Selling into various main contractors, and subcontractors including joinery contractors, building contractors, housebuilders & shop fitters as well as occasional retail trade end users
• Dealing with inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email
• Assisting the branch manager with the day to day running of the branch
• Produce quotes for customers both in branch and over the phone
• Organise product deliveries from the branch for drivers
• Ensuring excellent customer service is provided

The ideal applicant will be an Assistant Branch Manager - Timber & Construction Products with:

• Must have experience working within a management position within a branch
• Ideally will have experience with timber or building products but would consider wider construction experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be a good team player
• Initiative and autonomous approach
• Driven, enthusiastic, hungry with a passion for the product and company
