Role Overview
An exciting opportunity to join the Business Space Client Accounting team principally the Client Accountants and Senior Client Accountants in the management of a clients' finances on a specific portfolio. The role encompasses all aspects of property management accounting in a fast paced and dynamic working environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Compile and submit funding requests across the client portfolios. • Monitor and update funding tracker.• Process manual invoice entries.• Update BTR Main contract Invoice tracker.• Review cash balances held for OP and Capex making sure balance is zero• Proactis queries (invoice updates/editing and matching invoices to POs).• Responsible for managing the AP Email box – responding to queries in a timely manner.• Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external clients and ensure that good client service is delivered.• Other miscellaneous administration tasks as required.• Ad-hoc tasks instructed by Client Accounts Team Leader and Head of Property Finance UK.• Ensure full understanding of all current, updated and newly created Internal Procedures that relate to the accounts function.• Ad-hoc tasks/projects instructed by Client Accounts Manager and Head of Property Finance UK.• Ad-hoc tasks/projects instructed by Management.• Ad-hoc tasks/projects instructed by Client Accountant Team Leader• Manage specific communication between your line manager, Surveyor, Treasury, Service Charge and Operational teams to deliver the Finance service for our clients.• Comply with all internal and client led KPI’s.
Key Skills• Intermediate knowledge or above of MS Office (including Word, PowerPoint & Outlook with a willingness to learn to use different systems• Ability to engage and consistently work well in a fast-paced environment • Willingness to learn and welcome opportunities for training and professional development• A team player but does not shy away from working on their own initiative, taking responsibility for their own workload and ensuring tasks are prioritised effectively• Working to strict deadlines whilst achieving a high level of accuracy and confidentiality• Understand organisational purpose, activities, aims, values and vision• Understanding of data entry and record keeping• A proactive, “can do” attitude• Good interpersonal skills• Has good organisational, time management and communication skills• Capable of learning new procedures and processes
