Assistant Design Manager - Kier Group : Job Details

We're looking for an Assistant Design Manager to join our Construction team based in Witham, Essex.

Location: Witham, Essex

What will you be responsible for?

As an Assistant Design Manager you'll be working within the construction build team, supporting them in both pre construction and delivery phase of a project.

Your day to day will include:

• Work closely with the Design Managers to ensure all information is available and is being reviewed by the appropriate people
• Attend Design Team Meetings and take actions as required under clear direction from the design managers
• Join the design management team in reviewing and commenting on documents with the assistance from the other design managers.
• Gather all comments on documents and distribute.
• Be a point of contact for all the supply chain and deal with queries or pass them on to the appropriate people.
• Aid in producing internal reports.
• Have a site presence and be involved in site works including health and safety matters and quality control.

What are we looking for?

This role of Assistant Design Manager is great for you if you have:

• A good understanding of technical aspects of construction
• A good understanding of the RIBA plan of work
• You have a passion for Design and are keen to progress your career and challenge yourself within a Tier 1 business.
