Assistant Ecologist - Cambridge

Salary £25,000 - £30,000

A leading environmental consultancy is seeking an Assistant Ecologist to join its team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career ecologist to gain hands-on experience working on a variety of projects across the region.

The successful candidate will assist with field surveys, ecological assessments, and data analysis, supporting senior ecologists in delivering high-quality work for clients. Responsibilities will include habitat and protected species surveys, report writing, and contributing to biodiversity enhancement initiatives.

Candidates should have:

• A degree in ecology, environmental science, or a related field
• Some experience in ecological surveying, and ideally some experience writing ecological reports
• A full UK driving licence (desirable)
• CIEEM Membership
