Assistant Financial Accountant - Castlefield Recruitment : Job Details

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large public sector organisation based in the North East who are looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant. The role will initially be for 3 months which will then lead into a permanent position. 

Duties:

• Provide VAT advice to other Finance Departments and responsible for the VAT returns
• Treasury Management and Control of Cash
• Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations
• Responsible for Technical and Control Accounts
• Leadership and development of junior members of staff

Person:

• Strong with systems - including MS Excel
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior management
