We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Assistant Financial Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen understanding of financial procedures and a commitment to the Not For Profit sector.

Description

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Calculate and process accruals using Journal
• Maintain the balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities
• Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
• Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts

Profile

A successful Assistant Financial Accountant should have:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other accounting software
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Job Offer

• Salary range of £32,500 - £40,500 per annum
