Assistant Financial Controller - Milton Keynes/Hybrid - up to £60,000 p.a. + bonus + benefits

BondMoran are delighted to be working exclusively with this ambitious and innovative business to recruit a support to the Financial Controller. "Exciting" is normally a cliché on adverts,however this organisation are a key and respected player in a niche market and they’re currently going through considerable and very positive change. The next few years will see high-growth in their business and they are keen to recruit individuals to grow with them!

Partnering with a highly experienced and supportive FC, you will be responsible for aspects of financial control, group consolidations, management accounting and reporting. You will assist on the Year End Audit, liaise with external auditors, as well as a variety of projects.

You will be a need to be pragmatic about the "hands-on" element of this position and appreciate that this is a broad role where you will need to be flexible in your approach.

Strong communication skills are key to the success in this role and you will have considerable communication with the wider finance team and rest of the business.

About you:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by experience
• Strong Financial Control and Statutory Accounting
• Good stakeholder management and business partnering ability
• VAT and PAYE knowledge
• Advanced IT skills
