Assistant Financial Reporting - Morgan McKinley : Job Details

We have an excellent opportunity to join a leading global Investment Bank based in London who seek a Part-Qualified Accountant to join a leading financial services organization on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, IFRS & US GAAP
• Preparation of monthly closing journals, ledger adjustments, analysis & reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes.
• Monitoring cost spend V budget
• Support & manage the Bank's expense portfolio
• Maintain bank leased assets register
• Responsible for the review of the Application of systems development & fixed assets in the Concur payment system
• Invoicing & following up on cash remittance
• Support the preparation of management accounts and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.

Requirements:

• Part Qualified Accountant
• Good understanding of IFRS, US GAAP
• Experience with J GAAP would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in financial services is highly desirable.
