Salary: £27,316 with bonusIndustry: Self Storage

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at a leading self-storage company in Middlesex. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Store Manager to help achieve sales and profit targets while ensuring our customers receive a consistently high level of service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in meeting financial targets for the store.
  • Identify opportunities to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Ensure the store is clean and well-presented at all times.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety procedures to protect both customers and staff.
  • Manage and monitor store staff to optimise efficiency.
  • Take responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Handle customer enquiries, both in person and over the phone.
  • Maximise sales opportunities to meet store targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and financial reporting.
  • Assist with store marketing tasks and manage bad debt recovery.
  • Address any maintenance or repair issues in the store.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with customers and staff.
  • Comfortable working both in a team and independently.
  • Self-disciplined with attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.
  • Confident in leading by example and motivating others.
