Assistant Management Accountant | £20 - £23 per hour | Temp to Perm | Manchester | Hybrid:

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public-sector organisation in Manchester who are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to their team on an initial interim basis, which will then lead to a guaranteed permanent role. The role offers hybrid working/flexi-time, generous annual leave, study support and other great benefits. 

Duties:

• Recording and maintaining financial transactions for the business which will include purchases, expenses, invoices and payments 
• Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts 
• Posting prepayments, accruals and other journals 
• Processing invoices, preparing and reconciling bank statements and managing both sales and purchase ledgers 
• Assist with adhoc tasks such as administrative duties 

Experience:

• Experience as an Assistant Management Accountant with a strong understanding of transactional finance 
• AAT Qualified with experience using financial systems and strong excel skills
• Ability to post prepayments and accruals 
• Able to work as a team player and assist with adhoc duties 
• Exceptional organisational and administration skills with strong attention to detail
• Immediately available to start next role
