Assistant Management Accountant - Venture Recruitment Partners : Job Details

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with an established supplier of industrial equipment based in Southampton in their search for a responsible and analytically minded Assistant Management Accountant. 

This role is suited to someone AAT Qualified with previous experience in a similar role. 

The Role:

• Prepare accurate monthly flash sales and management accounts in a timely manner
• Ensure the preparation and submission of VAT Returns accurately and on time
• Prepare key data for internal and external stakeholders, including sales teams, customers, and management, and address anomalies with appropriate actions
• Coordinate the monthly ledger close process, including the review and reconciliation of key metrics to meet strict internal deadlines

The Person:

• AAT Qualified or QBE 
• At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role 
• Strong analytic and financial skills
• Able to work to deadlines and manage priorities
