Assistant Management Accountant - KCR Solutions : Job Details

KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with an excellent manufacturing business based in Newton Aycliffe to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on QBE, Part/Fully Qualified Accountant who as the potential to grow quickly with the position. You will be an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated individual with exceptional people, time management and IT skills. Main duties will include:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Produce daily, weekly and month end reporting
• Month end journals and reconciliations
• Overhead cost analysis
• Assist with the standard costing and works order processes
• Provide information to support financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Assist with weekly and monthly payroll
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Provide support and cover for AP/AR
• Bank reconciliations
• Ensure accounting practises are carried out in accordance with current standards
• Assist on special projects as required, as part of the Finance team and the wider business
