Assistant Management Accountant - SRM RECRUITMENT LIMITED : Job Details

SRM Recruitment are working exclusively with a successful property business to secure them a driven and motivated accountant who is around the part-qualified level of studying towards CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA or equivalent.

You will play a leading role in the day to day running of the finance function. It is important that this person can build relationships across the wider team. This role will suit someone with strong finance and accounting skills with a commercial mindset. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team and as such the successful candidate will be happy working within a busy, "hands on" environment. Our client is looking for a candidate with prior experience supporting with management accounting, around the part-qualified level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist in maintaining long term profit and cashflow forecasts.

· Assist in preparing and maintaining the long-term business plan.

· Responsibility for weekly consolidated management information reporting to senior executives.

· Responsibility for monthly consolidated management information reporting to senior executives.

· Responsibility for managing the accounts payable function

· Responsibility for VAT return submissions and VAT reconciliations, developing an understanding of VAT treatment specific to the industry.

· Assist in external financial reporting at half year and year end and responding to external audit requests.

· Work alongside project accountants to ensure financial control over key balance sheet and overhead accounts.

This role is based in White City and is office based.

Salary circa: £32,000-£40,000 + study support
