We are currently seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities:

As part of the Management Accounts team, you will take on a broad range of responsibilities, including:

  • Performing bank reconciliations across multiple companies and currencies.
  • Preparing and posting journals to the ledger.
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations, including control accounts, and resolving any queries.
  • Setting up payments within banking systems and monitoring approvals.
  • Conducting cost analysis for P&L codes and investigating month-on-month variances.
  • Reviewing and understanding variances between cost analysis and budget, and assisting with the forecast process.
  • Reviewing finance packs, providing comments, and responding to queries.
  • Monthly meetings with group support heads to discuss spending and budget variances.
  • Completing required control checks and acting as cover for other finance roles during periods of absence.
  • Supporting the Management Accounts team with ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual who thrives in both team-based and independent work environments. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in management accounts.
  • Part or full AAT qualification.
  • Strong excel skills, with a working knowledge of V-Lookups and pivot tables.
  • Experience working in a multi-company, multi-currency environment (preferred but not essential).
