Assistant Management Accountant

Derbyshire (2 days at site, 3 from home)

£30-35k + Benefits + CIMA/ACCA Study Support

Eaton Syalon are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced business in Derbyshire. The successful candidate will provide crucial finance support across core business area. Reporting to the senior finance manager, you will play a key role in the preparation of management accounts and related accounting tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing month-end reports for the management accounts.
• Support Finance Business Partners with financial data and KPI reporting.
• Cost and accounting data analysis.
• Reconcile production statistics, inventory movements, and capital expenditure.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Produce post-month-end reporting packages and associated analysis.
• Act as first-line support for financial queries
• Ensure financial data integrity and respond to ad hoc requests from management.

We are looking for a talented Assistant Accountant keen to further their experience in a Management Accounts setting. Ideally you will be AAT Qualified or at the early stages of CIMA/ACCA study, or keen to undertake your professional qualifications alongside your work where you will gain significant exposure to a broad range of experience. You will need to possess experience assisting with the preparation of management accountants and have strong IT skills
