Job Description :
I am delighted to be working with one of the most well known UK NFP organisations who are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join the FP&A Team. This role will provide invaluable support to the Finance Business Partners and Management Accountants as well as working closely with the Financial Analysts. Role Overview:As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and provide insight into business performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career within a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with exposure to senior leaders across the business. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Support the FP&A team in the preparation of budget forecasts, strategic plans, and business performance analysis.
  • Perform variance analysis, identifying key drivers of performance and helping to explain variances.
  • Provide financial data and insights to Finance Business Partners to aid decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business units with their financial needs.
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial reporting processes and systems.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • AAT or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with a keen interest in management accounting.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
