Assistant Management Accountant - Robert Half : Job Details

Robert Half is recruiting for a Part Qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join a international business based in Solihull town centre.

• Hybrid working - 2 days on site

• £35,000 - £38,000 depending on experience

This role will be responsible for the preparation and processing of month end journals (accruals and prepayments) along with month end analysis for UK and Ireland. They will also assist with the generation of invoices and credit notes, processing cash and the maintenance of the bank accounts.

• Month end journals - accruals & prepayments
• SG&A analysis and review
• WIP review and reporting
• Bank reconciliations
• Sales Invoicing
• Fee reporting and reconciliation
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Temp Billing
• Weekly temp reporting
• Assist with internal and external Audits for the UK
• Ad hoc report and duties requested by management.

Skills and Competences

• Actively studying towards professional qualification or equivalent, or experience in similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Good organizational, time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative, to high standards.
• Calm under pressure
• Highly numerate and keen attention to detail
• Good analytical skills
• Commercial & customer focused on approach and able to work in a fast paced, change oriented environment.
