Assistant Management Accountant - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

About the Company:Join a dynamic and growing company based in Watford. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Handle debit and credit transactions
• Manage intercompany accounts and collections
• Perform month-end closing activities
• Work with multi-currency transactions
• Prepare for audits and assist with audit queries
• Utilise ERP system Sage 50 for financial reporting and analysis
• Support Accounts Payable (AP) processes

Requirements:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Experience with debit and credit transactions
• Familiarity with intercompany accounts and collections
• Strong understanding of month-end processes
• Experience with multi-currency transactions
• Audit preparation experience
• Proficiency in Sage 50 ERP system
• Strong Accounts Payable (AP) skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
