Assistant Management Accountant - Marc Daniels : Job Details

Fantastic opportunity has arisen as an Assistant Management Accountant required to join a multi-site retail company based in central London on a 6-month fixed term contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in posting revenue for site and franchises
• Assist in posting royalty income and posting and reconciling all delivery partner revenue
• Assist in posting retail commissions in accordance with the contract
• Assist in reviewing and accruing all cost of goods sold for restaurants and retail
• Assist in franchisee invoicing (deposit invoices and monthly revenue invoices), posting all recharges and making sure all payments are made in accordance with the contracts.
• Assist in bank postings and reconciliation
• Assist in aged accounts receivable reconciliation
• Assisting in the preparation of site P&Ls at month end including raising of any necessary accruals and prepayments.
• Assist in site by site reviews of P&Ls explaining any large variances to budget.
• Assist in balance sheet reconciliations to be prepared and uploaded to ADRA for review monthly.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• Accuracy and organisational skills
• Advanced excel skills.
• Studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience of working within a multi-site organisation would be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to manage key relationships both internally and with external partners.
• Positive can-do attitude and takes pride and ownership of their work
