Assistant Management Accountant - North Leicestershire - up to £36,000 per annum plus study support

Macildowie Finance are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join the finance team of our client, a leading player in their industry.

You will have the opportunity to develop your accounting skills while supporting key financial processes. If you're an ambitious part-qualified accountant actively studying ACCA or CIMA, this role is perfect for you!

This role is based in the office 5 days per week, but can be flexible with the working hours where possible.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Support budget and forecast preparation
• Assist in providing analysis on financial performance and key variances
• Support on maintaining the fixed asset register and tracking spends

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Actively studying towards ACCA or CIMA qualification
• Some experience in a finance or accounting role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and eager to learn financial systems
• A positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges
