Temporary Assistant Management Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Management Accountant for a temporary 3-month assignment with an immediate start. This role is within the education sector and offers a chance to contribute to a well-established organisation.

• Start Date: Immediate
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: Up to £27 per hour
• Location: London-based

• Support cost and cash flow management, ensuring accurate financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Contribute to the improvement of financial systems, workflows, and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver effective financial support.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements.

• Part-qualified accountant actively studying towards a qualification.
• Demonstrable experience in management accounting or a finance-related role.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial software (Oracle experience desirable).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ideally: Previous experience in the education sector or a similar environment.
