The Company

Quest Search & Selection is currently recruiting for this lifestyle retailer who has become a global aspirational brand and has been established for more than 50 years. They offer a whole range of luxury gifting of everyday goods.

The Role

As an Assistant Manager, Assists the Store Manager in co-ordinating the daily operations of the store and the daily activities of the sales team.

Responsibilities of this Assistant Manager - Lifestyle Retail

  • Oversees and organises the day-to-day operations of the store.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service, serving as the primary point of contact for customers.
  • Guarantees clients receive exceptional after-sales support.
  • Maintains extensive knowledge of all products, both current and new and their selling points.
  • Achieves monthly sales targets and drives improvements in other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintains professional communication with staff across all levels.
  • Assists the Store Manager in training sales associates.
  • Ensures timely communication of all customer inquiries/orders to Head Office, adhering to Company Procedures.
  • Executes store merchandising based on visual guidelines, ensuring well-maintained stock.

    • To be successful in this Assistant Manager - Lifestyle Retail

  • Ideally having min 2 years' experience in retail and 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • You must have management, supervisor/keyholder level experience.
  • Have strong sales and client experience, preferably in the retail market.
  • Good understanding of commercial KPI's (financial and non-financial)
  • Excellent communicational skills and ability to work under pressure.
