Assistant Quantity Surveyor - The One Group : Job Details

Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor Salary: Up To £35,000 Per AnnumLocation: Peterborough BasedDuration: Permanent RoleHours: Monday - Friday Wanted: Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join my clients Commercial Team in their Peterborough office. In this role you will support the commercial team to maintain commercial control of direct labour, subcontractors, plant, material, consumable and administration costs. As well as supporting project valuation; cost control/management and the validation of progress data to ensure accurate reporting. This is an exciting role with a forward thinking company in a fast paced environment! Key Responsibilities:

• Line management of two of our Commercial Assistants
• Manage the in house Engineering Retention process
• Monitor the Commercial Inbox
• Manage our Recharge process back to field based operatives
• Commercially manage one of our existing contracts in whole
• Commercial lead for a specialist in house division
• Support other contracts where required

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
• Self-motivated, and able to work on own initiative; enthusiastic with 'can do' attitude
