We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our established private consultancy in London. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation.
- Support senior team members in managing procurement processes and contracts.
- Conduct measurement, take-offs, and cost analysis.
- Help with the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
- Attend site visits and support the monitoring of project progress.
- Assist in conducting feasibility studies and value engineering exercises.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a consultancy or construction environment.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and cost management principles.
- Ambition to progress towards MRICS accreditation (support provided).
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant cost management software.
