Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Bennett & Game Recruitment : Job Details

Bennett & Game are currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a forward-thinking and dynamic Main Contractor based in Chichester. The company delivers high-quality construction projects both in the UK and internationally, offering a unique opportunity to work on diverse commercial projects ranging from £50k to £10M+. These include fit-outs, refurbishments, and design & build schemes across London, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Travel overseas for site visits (10-20 days annually) is optional, with the role adaptable to be fully UK-based to suit the candidate's preferences.

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will assist in the delivery of construction projects from inception to completion, support the preparation of tender documentation, manage sub-contractors and consultants through project meetings, and assist with procurement, logistics, final accounts, and CVRs.

• Support the delivery of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare tender documentation and assist with procurement/logistics.
• Manage sub-contractors and consultants through project meetings.
• Assist with final accounts and CVRs.
• Primarily based in Chichester with optional international travel (10-20 days annually).
• Work closely alongside the Commercial Manager.

• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction (HNC, HND, Degree, etc.).
• 6+ months of industry experience
• A full UK driving licence is essential
• Strong work ethic and enthusiasm for career progression.
