Assistant Site Manager

Assistant Site Manager opportunity working on a Reinforced concrete frame student accommodation high rise project in Sheffield with an approx. value of £25m.

This opportunity as assistant site manager with a renowned regional main contractor which are a currently the market leading contractor for this region. Reporting to a site Manager, you will need to be a dedicated motivated assistant working closely with the site manger sharing responsibilities from substructures through to interior fit out to handover. Helping oversees a full site team, being a part of chairing subcontractor meetings, progress reporting and overseeing health & safety and quality.

You will be assisting in the following:

• Substructures through to interior fit out to handover
• Responsible for managing a full site team
• Chairing subcontractor meetings
• Progress reporting and overseeing health & safety
• Checking the workmanship on site making sure it adheres to standards set.

• Proven Track record as an assistant site manager who has demonstrable project deliver experience on high rise Reinforced concrete student accommodation or apartment developments.
• Experience Working with regional or tier 1 contractors
• Trade background or Degree BSC construction management.
• SMSTS
• Taken projects from out of the ground to completion & handover of client.

• Salary: Up to £45k + £5k car allowance
