Alchemy is working work with a leader in strategic intelligence and investigations, providing cutting-edge cyber advice and analytical services to top-tier commercial and financial advisory firms, including Fortune 50 and FTSE100 companies. As part of their plans to further expand across Europe, they are looking for a vision-driven Associate Director to guide and manage their intelligence projects.
Role Overview:
This candidate will play a very pivotal role in undertaking comprehensive commercial due diligence and counterparty analysis across the various markets in Europe. This role requires a strategic thinker who is very commercial advice-oriented and understands cultural and commercial differences across different geographical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and direct lines of inquiry and focus areas based on potential operational and commercial risks in diverse sectors and geographies.
- Devising interviews strategy, human source engagement and public record research. Triaging investigative materials and streams of research, while evaluating both the credibility and relevance of sources of intelligence.
- To be able to develop and present clear, commercially-focused briefings and reports for all levels of stakeholders, including deal teams and the C-suite ensuring communication of key findings and insight.
- Leadership, develop and grow your team-including identifying and hiring new talent to meet increasing demand.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 5 years in commercial advisory positions; preference to experience with consultancy, legal, investment advisory, compliance or related profiles
- Excellent skill in verbal/written English; proficiency in an additional European language will be an advantage
- Strong track record of team along with large project management with a strategic orientation
- Strong commercial/cultural acumen with sharp insights relating to the European business and regulatory landscapes.

- Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, use own initiative, and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where no day is the same.
