QC Legal have an incredible new opportunity for an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our client’s growing Clinical Negligence Department. We are seeking applications from Clinical Negligence Solicitors at all levels.

ROLE

  • Our client is an award-winning international law firm.
  • You will be responsible for a caseload of a wide variety of defendant clinical negligence matters which include instructing experts and counsel, drafting reports and witness statements, interviewing witnesses, negotiating settlements, holding conferences with counsel, preparing for and attending court trials, mediations, case management conferences and application hearings.
  • Assist senior clinical negligence solicitors on more complex claims.
  • Liaise with clients at all stages of the case.
  • In addition to the above, you will also have the opportunity to get involved in delivering client training and presentations, drafting articles, cover secondments, supervise and coach junior members of the team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • England & Wales qualified lawyer.
  • Must have a solid understanding of clinical negligence law.
  • Ideally you will have defendant clinical negligence experience. However, we will consider appropriate claimant experience.
  • Be confident in advising healthcare professionals of all levels with regards to ongoing claims, working both independently and as part of a larger team.
  • Possess great organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Adhere to guidelines and client protocols/KPIs.
